About Me ......

My name is Cheryl Popp. I live in E. Stroudsburg, PA. I have 2 daughters, 16 & 14 yrs old, & are cyber-schooling. I am a Computer Programmer by trade & worked in the industry for 15 years. I also have a Web Development Diploma & I design Websites on the side. I went back to school to pursue technology in the K-12 area. I attended & graduated from the University of Central Missouri where I majored in Technology Education. I am continuing on to receive my Masters at Walden University in the MS in Instructional Design and Technology with Online Learning. I am currently not teaching anywhere, but on the substitute list. I was a Teacher’s Aide for 3 years at ND Elementary School in E. Stroudsburg, PA. I also taught Kindergarteners & 1^st Graders computers 4 days a week. My goal is to work as an Instructional Designer either in a University, Government, Military or for an online school. I would like to design online courses / programs. I like to cook, watch Food Network, golf, hang out w/ my family (even my 4 4-legged ones) & friends, have get togethers @ my house, go out to eat, drink Starbucks, eat sushi & travel. I am looking forward to this class & learning as much as possible.
